IN CELEBRATION OF ONE YEAR
I know everyone says this, but time really does fly! Today marks Jason and I's one year anniversary, and it has been the greatest year! Unfortunatly, I came down with the flu this past week and was worried it would put a damper on our lovely weekend and celebration. We decided to venture up to Lake Chelan, despite my bug, and go ahead with our plans. I don't know what it is about the lake air, but I immediatly felt a little bit better, and after a good nights rest in paradise, we were able to celebrate our anniversary. Jason and I got engaged in Chelan two years ago, and we thought it fitting to return to the place where it all began! All I can say is that today marks the anniversary of the best year of my life! There are no words to describe how thankful we are to have eachother and we look forward to many more years of happiness!

AS SUMMER COMES TO AN END.....
Jason and I have recently looked back at the summer with amazement! We have taken numerous vacations, been busy moving in and out of our condo do to construction, and also had two of our closest friends get married!!! In addition, we are also approaching our one year anniversary, which is crazy! Time absolutely flies when you are with the one you love! Most recently we spent a weekend in Cannon Beach and Portland Oregon. The trip had been my 30th birthday present from Jason, and it was absolutely perfect! The weather could not have been better, and the surroundings are nothing less then breath taking! Below are some pictures we took on a weekend jaunt in addition to some pictures of the Backus wedding.

Brie and Massimo's wedding was amazing! I had the honor of being Brie's matron of honor, and felt so blessed to be a part of such a special day! The wedding was nothing less than perfect and Jason and I were so happy to see two such great friends become husband and wife! We love you guys and congrats!

OUR NEW LIFE AS HUSBAND AND WIFE

So it has been a long time since we have updated our blog....ok,a really really long! Life has been busy and full of happiness. After the wedding, Jason got all of his stuff moved in to our condo in Sammmamish. The fall and winter have brought a lot of fun with pumpkin carving to Christmas decorating. We have enjoyed the uniting of our families and spent a wonderful thanksgiving in Chelan with the Lindemans and then an amazing Thanksgiving sunday walking the Arboretum in Seattle with the Rowleys! Needless to say, there is a lot of love with friends and family always surrounding us. We are now one week away from the "most wonderful time of the year", Christmas! The weather has been chilly, but we are looking forward to the cold, hoping it brings some of the white stuff to ski and play in. We will leave for our honeymoon on December 26th to enjoy the slopes in Tahoe!
We wish you a wonderful (safe) Christmas and New Year!
Joy and love to all!

Summer Time

This summer has been amazing! Jason and I have been so busy, but have made the time to do what we love, hang out with friends and be outside! The summer kicked off with a camping trip with our dear friends James and Kerri, and continued with yet another trip with them to their fabulous place in Sunland.
While we have been engaged since October, we finally got our engagement photos taken! The experience was so fun! Thanks to Summer Hopkins, a great friend who does amazing work, the pictures turned out wonderful!
Check her information out at:www. summerdawnphotography.com
Recently Jason and I both had our final hoorahs as well! He enjoyed a weekend bachelor party in Coeur de Alene Idaho, and I celebrated with an amazing night with some of my girlfriends in downtown Seattle. Everything has gone by so fast, it is hard to believe that we are on the home stretch! We hope that summer and life has been treating everyone well and that you enjoy the last days of sun shine and warmth!

PLACES TO STAY!

Hope everyone has had a great winter and are getting ready for spring! Jason and I enjoyed the snow this year with a trip to Sun River and Bachelor to ski and snow shoe. The sun was shining, and so were our smiles! Jason finished up his second season with the Skyhawks and celebrated making it to the finals. Now he is enjoying playing some ball in the lovely outdoors.
In addition to the many activities we are keeping up with, including work, coaching, school, and the wedding, we take time as often as possible to hang out with friends and family. Rachael has had her second sleep over at Auntie's house, and with the help of her future uncle, enjoys it tremedously!
In the event that any of you want to stay the night in Snohomish the night of our wedding I have attached the names of some local hotels and bed and breakfasts. Also, many people have inquired about the locations where we are registered, so I attached those places as well! Thanks and hope everyone is happy and healthy this May!!
