2011 Camping Trip
We took advantage of A's last weeks of Summer Vacation to hit the road for a 10 day 1500 mile loop to/through the Canadian Rockies. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful drives either of us have been on, was the Icefields Parkway, from Jasper down to Banff National Park in Alberta. 20 week old Baby Rowley didn't give A too much trouble on the drive, we got out often for fresh air and to stretch our legs... was tough to get back in the car with all the great scenery. Spent a couple of great days in sunny Kelowna by Okanagan Lake, spent two nights camping and playing with the local bears in Jasper Nat'l Park, three nights camping with my parents in their new deluxe tent trailer in Banff Nat'l Park (welcomed the heated trailer after below 30's nights in Jasper), and finished the trip off with a stopover in Sandpoint, ID.
