This Christmas and New Years was wonderful, as always, however, it seemed to be a little bit more special because of the anticipation of Baby Rowley. We celebrated Christmas Eve with the Lindeman side of the family and then spent Christmas Day with the Rowleys! We also took the 23rd and made it our Christmas day together, doing lot's together to celebrate the season and our last Christmas as a two-some. On the 27th we were so lucky to have a "post Christmas" holiday dinner and celebration hosted by our amazing friends Brie and Massimo, who despite being in town for only 5 days put together an absolutely perfect night for many of us to come together and celebrate the year! The New Year was pretty low key but wonderful with some time spent up with our dear friends at our annual friends-giving celebration, which was at the always gracious Smith's house this year, who welcomed their own little new baby yellow lab, Major, this holiday season! I seriously wanted to take him home, he is PRECIOUS!! After some qualitly time with friends we grabbed some dinner before heading home to attempt to stay up for the count down via our comfy couch! Surprisingly we made it to mindnight, but only until 12:05! Finally, on New Years Day, Jason and I drove up to Snoqualmie pass so that I could see, walk in, and smell the snow. Skiing is not an option for me right now and I miss it desperatley. This way, I at least got a fix of the winter outdoors and hope to rejoin the action come spring time!
Now, in our 39th week of pregnancy, and closing in on our 40th, we, especially ME, are READY for baby Rowley to come into this world and join our family! Today we had an appointment with our doc, and she told us that she was going to go ahead and make an appointment for us to induce the week after our due date, just in case we go past January 8th. All I can say, is I am emotionally and physically ready, and while I know it is common to be late with your first pregnancy, I am crossing my fingers that I don't go another two weeks before our baby arrives!
