One Month of Joy
Reed Oliver Rowley joined our family on December 30th 2015, He was five days late and I was induced, my children do not come on their own! He was a lovely 7lbs 12oz, and 19 1/2 in., and absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! He came out, and of course it was love at first site!!, but also he was absolutely perfect! We feel so overjoyed to have our family be completed by such an amazing little angel. Reed is our little finale, our surprise blessing, our missing puzzle piece, and truly an amazing baby. He is such a snuggler. He loves to be held, and rocked, and with Emmalee at 4, and Will being a Mr. Independent, we miss those snuggles. It is definitely more of a challenge snuggling a newborn while managing two other kids, but we are soaking up every possible minute of this time and all this love. Reed has some of the greatest noises, including his awesome monkey call! Literally, he sounds like curious George. He eats great, sleeps amazing (even a few 5 and 7 hour stretches!!) Unfortunately he has had reflux which is painful for him, and it is SUPER hard to see him in that much pain. But other than that, he is super laid back, super loving, happy, and fun! And his siblings!! AMAZING! Emmalee and Will are so in love with "baby Reed" and have adjusted so well! The love and joy Reed brings to our lives is immeasurable and our hearts are happy and full!
