When I hold Reed, really hold him, at night, when I rock him and smell his head and rub his cheek, I am truly filled with a warm love that is unreal! He is therapy this baby, pure joy in a little body and full of love. This little boy brings us so much happiness it can't be put into words. His smile is so sweet, the tilt of his head when he is happy or shy, his perfecting the mimicking mouth and clapping hands, his love for all things Will and Emma do, his love of wrecking cars and mixing up massive amounts of toys, his strength and fire in his belly, his patience, and lack of patience, all of it wrapped up in one.....it is almost too much!! We are watching the sands of the year disappear so quickly, and while it makes me sad, the little boy that is emerging over time makes me SO SO SO excited and in love. There is no Rowley family without Reedy. Dare I take my two older kids out without him, "Where is Reedy", "Mom, Reedy is not in his carseat???" "I miss Reedy!!" He completes EVERYTHING! We are so happy that he is on the move now too--quick, agile, and IN IT! His fussiness has been subsided by his ability to now be a part of the action, follow us around and be apart of it all. But don't be fooled, he still has a fire, but now uses it to display an new individual personality.....and WE LOVE IT! Reedy, we are in the home stretch.......enjoy your last few months before turning 1!!! I know we will!
