Jason and I had an appointment last week for baby 2, and we were informed that I am measuring, or baby rather is measuring, 2 weeks early. This could mean one of two things. We are either going to be welcoming baby closer to March 2nd, or this baby is getting BIG! Now, my number one goal is a healthy baby, but at this point, I would be happy to welcome baby sooner than later. I am reaching my breaking point, and ready to be DONE being pregnant. The uncomfortable zone has come sooner this time around, and I am convinced it is natures way of preparing women for birth. You are nervous about the task of giving birth, and then you reach a point where you welcome it so that you can be on the other side. Plus I am dying to meet my little bug! He or she is beyond active, and STRONG! One of my favorite things is when I am reading to Emmalee or singing to her before she goes to sleep, and baby within kicks her! Even if Emma does not notice, I get a big smile on my face knowing that they are already making a connection. Not to mention Emma is so ready to be a big sister, and has taken to giving the baby hugs and kisses goodnight, while listing off for the baby ALL the things she is going to teach the baby to do! We continue to feel so blessed and are increasingly excited for our family to grow! How amazing to have another little addition to our home, to love, and hold! What could be better? We have loved our little family of three, but now look forward to growing in size, happiness, and love!
Just a place to check out how we are doing and what is new in our life!
