Christmas was magical this year, such a difference from last year. Emmalee really understood all the Christmas spirit this year, and it only added to the whole experience for her and for us! It was truly amazing to watch her take it all in, and fall in love with everything Christmas! From lights, to Rudolph, and cookies to gifts! But the most special was our time together, and we made a point to spend as much time together as a family as we possibly could. We loved every minute celebrating with dear friends or family, and we absorbed our quality time with just the three of us, (well...three and a half!) Now that the new year has arrived we are completely focused on getting ready for BABY! We are working on the nursery, clothes, necessities, and of course Emmalee is eating it up! She loves talking about her baby brother/sister, hugging and kissing my belly, and preparing for the babies arrival! It will be so amazing to give her a sibling, and so amazing to have another little blessing in our lives! I have become so attached to the little bug, there is no way to ignore the kicks, punches, and somersaults. I am convinced this baby is ready to come out NOW and is trying to fight his or her way out of my belly! We can't wait to hold this little one, and bring it home to three absolutely thrilled loving sets of arms! We are on the countdown now....with only two and a half months to go, we are in the home stretch and know that the time is going to fly by! With that being said, we hope to enjoy the last few weeks as a trio, and prepare to have our family grow in size and in love.
