FIVE MONTHS OF PERFECTION
Seriously? Five months! The time has absolutely gone by in a blink, and we are faced with the bittersweet fact that our little man is growing up. So many new and cool accomplishments have come about in the past four weeks, but the markings of his growing up also remind us that we are saying goodbye to some pretty amazing phases. Overall Will has changed SO much! Recently he has started trying to crawl, getting up on all fours and scooting. He rolls and pushes himself everywhere and has proven to be one extremely strong and determined little boy. I will put him down in one corner of the room, and turn around for a minute only to return to him playing with a toy on the other side of the room. He will for sure be an early crawler like his sister, if not earlier. Also, new this month, Will is trying to form words. It is literally the cutest thing to see him attempt to "talk". He does a really good "dada", but the best is just watching him open and close his mouth, almost like a puppet. On top of it, he is smiling the whole time. Which brings me to a quality in Will that has been a constant and a comfort. Will's smile, lovable demeanor, and absolute easy going personality make him one of a kind. Will has been a steady calming force in our household, and I don't know how many people can say that about a five month old baby. He goes with the flow and does it with an unbelievable happy nature. My son truly teaches me how to be a more happy and positive person in my own life. He embraces every day with a smile and an excitement that is admirable. I can't believe our little man is one month away from being 6 months old, and it makes me so happy, but also sad, because I know how fast the rest of the time goes. However, I am looking forward to every minute with my little man and watching him grow and discover all the new adventures that await him. Thank you Will---for making me the mother of the most amazing son a family could ask for! WE LOVE YOU!
