Dear little Emmalee Jaye turned two months old last Friday and Jason and I can hardly believe how much has changed in just four weeks! Seriously...I shed a few tears watching her laugh and kick while watching her mobile in her "big" crib! How fast the time goes! Not only is Emmalee so much bigger, but she has become so much more alert, interactive, and vocal. At her two week checkup she had gained another two pounds and grew two more inches....I swear, breast milk is like super food! We have had some fun days this past month, with our dear friends Matt and Noelle visiting from California for a whole weekend. Emmalee enjoyed lot's of quality time with them both and missed them the minute they left. We have also kept pleasantly busy these winter months with lot's of day trips out, visitors, and of course time with Emmalee's fantastic grandparents! However, we can't wait for the spring months to be able to get outside more and share in our love of the outdoors with Emmalee!
SOME OF OUR FAVORITE MOMENTS THIS MONTH:
-Emmalee's chubby legs and cheeks.
-The interactive "discussions" we have. She loves to try and mimic our sounds and has the CUTEST voice ever!
-Tracking, tracking, tracking! Emmalee loves all things that move and that play music...her crib mobile being number one.
-Mimicking daddy's tongue! Emmalee loves to stick her tongue out after daddy has so appropriately stuck his out at her.
-Diaper blow outs. You think this would be a least favorite, but every time she does it, she laughs and smiles, making it so funny and memorable in its own way ; )
-Sucking on her thumb and fist, she LOVES her pacifier, but now loves her own warm hand more.
-Her favorite place to hang out....no joke, her changing table! She just laughs, kicks, and has a blast--makes for much easier changings.
-And still, number one, is her amazing personality! So happy and
full of smiles most all the time!

Hold tight, it is a FAST ride. I need to find a time to come down and meet her! Looks like mom and dad have fallen perfectly into parenthood.
She is dreamy. And I miss her loads.

Adorbs is the perfect little word for your girl! She is beautiful and full of personality already! I can't wait to see her again.
