Third Month is a Charm

Every month so far has proven to be our favorite with Emmalee, and the third month did not disappoint!  In fact, I am so incredibly blown away by all the changes that happened this month, and how fast they occur.  Our favorite is Emmalee's incredible grip and her recent ability to reach and grab for things, including lips, noises, and of course mamma's long hair.  The night she grabbed her toy for the first time you would have thought our child won the Olympic games!  We were so excited and so proud of our little "strong" angel!   Emma has an amazing attention span and alertness that we are so excited to watch develop over the next few months.  Of course we again were busy this month, but more so than usual because we bought a new house in North Bend!  Taking on a move with a 2 and 1/2 month old was definitely interesting, but SO WORTH every minute.  Emmalee was a champ, possibly because she now knows that she has a big back yard to play in, and a house that will give her more room to roam!  We also had a few "play dates" with some dear friends, which of course is more of a nap date at this point, but fun all the same.  Overall the third month has been full of lot's of change, lot's of smiles, and of course lot's of love!!!  Looking forward to what the next few weeks hold!

Favorite moments and memories:

-Emmalee's strong grip and her determination to GRAB!
-Bath time in a real tub!  So much fun and so much warmer for the little peanut.
-Sleeping through the night...ALMOST!  Getting more and more hours at a time!
-Talking and talking...or at least that is what she thinks she is doing!
-Daddy has taught her to raise her fist in the air for a  bump.  Seriously could not believe it, bur now she does it all the time.  She will literally just lay on the ground with her fist straight in the air for 10 minutes.
-Holding her head up on her own and looking EVERYWHERE!
- Favorite toys are Freddy the frog, Buggy the bug, and our dining room light.
-Recognizing her reflection and loving it!  Beautiful little girl!
-Her mini walking steps while being held, she is SO proud of herself.
-Again....her smile! Lights up her eyes and our hearts!
