Everything That is Good in the World.....

we see in Emmalee....  In the past five months Jason and I have learned to laugh and love in a way we never could have imagined.  When we look at Emmalee we see what joy pure innocence holds and are dumbfounded by how happy we become at the most tiny, but oh so significant, changes and accomplishments that have accompanied our little five month old angel.  We could not be more proud!  This month really hit home with us in regards to how fast time flies.  I remember when Emmalee was born, and thinking about the future and what Emmalee would look like at five months old, and now we are there!    It is so surreal how time flies and the speed of it all makes you really cherish each moment to the fullest.  This month we took a family vacation to Chelan, had some fantastic time working on the house, celebrated Fathers Day, and of course spent lots of quality time with family and friends.  We were so excited to have seen Emmalee's many accomplishments this month, including rolling ALL OVER the place, scooting backwards, pushing up on her knees, and the 12 hour night sleep!  Our little Emma is SO strong, almost scarily so, and even more determined!  We love to watch her work so hard to try and move around, and know it will be any day she is sitting up and then crawling!  CRAZY!

THIS MONTH'S FAVORITE MOMENTS:

1. The scoot back....she uses her head and her arms to give her an extra edge!

2. Crib rotating....I swear, her goal is to get stuck in every slat in her crib and to sleep in every inch and corner before she turns 6 months old.

3. Favorite toy of the month:  the nalgene bottle - she is obsessed with the dangling cap, wants to put the whole bottle in her mouth.

4. Emma puts the play in playpen... she can't stop licking the side mesh, its extremely funny to watch from the outside.

5.  Pushups - all hands and feet, pushes her butt up to the sky

6.  Her two favorite men (other than her dad): Mr. Bananas her stuffed plush monkey, and Brian Williams of NBC Nightly News.

cheers!
